Created during a residency at Lateral ARTSpace in Cluj, Romania, during which I experimented with walking and drawing simultaneously. The comic depicts a walk following the Someșul Mic River out of town to the airport and back following the train tracks.

Commissioned by The Lancaster Canal Regeneration Partnership, The Lanky tells the stories of the families that lived and worked on and around the Kendal to Lancaster canal. The funding also allowed for a certain amount of public engagement in the form of workshops in primary schools in Lancaster and Kendal.

Commissioned by The Lakes International Comic Art Festival. Ten 24 page comics based on a ten day walk from Arnside to Carlisle, following the train line as closely as possible.

Commissioned by Manchester Museum, Take Me Back to Manchester tells the story of the elephant, Maharajah, who walked from Edinburgh to Manchester in 1877, a walk I did myself as research for the book.
